Candlelight vigils are being held this evening to mark the first anniversary of the death of Savita Halappanavar.
The 31 year old died a year ago in Galway University Hospital from septicaemia.
She'd been miscarrying and had asked for a termination, but had been told it wasn't possible.
Meanwhile, it's reported the Minister for Health has extended an invitation to Savita's widower, Praveen, to meet him to discuss Savita's case. Praveen has been seeking a meeting with James Reilly since June.
This evening's memorial vigils will be held at the top of Grafton Street in Dublin, Eyre Square in Galway and at the Opera House in Cork from 6pm until 7.
