A candle lit vigil will take place outside the Dail later to highlight the homelessness and housing crisis.

It's after a homeless man - who was in his forties - was discovered in a doorway on Molesworth Street in Dublin at around 8 o'clock yesterday morning.

Groups working with homeless people are now calling for immediate action.

The candle lit vigil will take place at Leinster House from 5.30 this evening.
