A man has been arrested after a major drugs seizure in Ennis, Co. Clare.
Gardaí carrying out a planned operation, searched a house at Kilvoyden, Spancill Hill, Ennis at about 10 O'clock last night and found cannabis herb with an estimated street value of €200,000.
The man, who is in his 30s, was arrested at the scene and is being questioned at Ennis garda station. He is being held under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996. He can be detained for up to seven days.

The drugs will now be examined to confirm the stash's exact value, and the scene has been preserved for a technical examination.
