Revenue officers have seized €200,000 worth of cannabis at Dublin Airport.

Revenue Customs Service seized 10 kilos of herbal cannabis from the luggage of a 30-year-old English man who had arrived on a flight from Barcelona last night, after routine profiling.

A man was arrested at the scene and is due to appear in court next Friday.

Meanwhile, 7,400 cigarettes were seized in a separate revenue operation today.

Officers with a warrant searched a private home and a car in Dublin's inner city.

A car was also seized.
