A caped crusader, dubbed Wheel Clamp Man, has been hailed a hero by motorists in Australia.

The mystery man dressed in a green lycra costume, fake moustache and red mask, uses an angle grinder to remove wheel clamps and help drivers escape a 135 dollar fine.

In return he asks for a small donation which he reportedly gives to a homeless charity.

However, police see him as a menace and have asked the public to report him
