The captain of the ferry that sank on Wednesday has been arrested according to Yonhap - a south Korean news agency.

It says 68 year old Lee Joon-seok faces five charges including negligence of duty and violation of maritime law.

28 people have been confirmed dead - around 270 others are still missing.
