Co Carlow has the highest rate of deaths from lung cancer, according to new figures in the Irish Examiner.

It finds that suicide rates in Cork City are higher than anywhere else, and Limerick City has the highest infant mortality.

While Waterford has the highest numbers of people accessing treatment for problem alcohol use.

When it comes to healthier counties - Kildare and Meath fare well - with 90% of respondents ranking their health as good, or very good.
