A cash-in-transit van has been robbed at gunpoint in Dublin.
Gardaí said a security officer transporting a cashbox was threatened by a man with a gun on Taney Road in Dundrum at around 10:35am this morning.
The suspect stole the cashbox and fled the scene in a white van.
The van was found burnt out on Taney Crescent a short time later.
No-one was injured in the attack.
Gardaí are urging anyone who may have witnessed the robbery to come forward.
They are also calling for drivers who were in the Dundrum area – especially on Taney Road and Taney Crescent – and who may have dash-cam footage to come forward.
