The Dáil's Committee on Proceedures and Privilege has cleared Independent TD Catherine Murphy of any abuse of Dáil privilege.
It follows her reading into the record of the house alleged details of loan arrangements between the businessman Denis O'Brien and the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation.
The CPP had already cleared her of any wrongdoing following a complaint from the businessman.
