A man aged in his 60s has died in a farming accident in Co Cavan.

The accident, involving a tractor, occurred in Killydoon this morning.

Emergency services attended the scene after 11.00am, where the man died as a result of his injuries.

The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) and gardaí have launched two separate investigations into the man's death.
