The November attacks in Paris resulted in the deaths of 130 people while over 350 people were left injured. The first reported attack took place in the Stade de France, where explosions were heard during a friendly football game between France and Germany.

Shots were later fired at customers in the Le Carillon bar and Petit Cambodge restaurant while other attackers also opened fire in front of a restaurant in the 11th district and outside La Bell Equipe. At the Bataclan Concert Hall, several gunmen entered the venue and shot randomly at the crowd.

Video evidence has since been released of Brahim Abdeslam detonating his suicide belt inside the Comptoir Voltaire restaurant in the company of innocent customers. He was the only person to die in the restaurant attack due to failures in the belt exploding properly.

The footage was aired on French television on Sunday night.

The footage shows Abdeslam dressed in black and walking towards the centre of the restaurant, surrounded by diners completely unaware of his terrorist plot. The 31-year-old then places his hand towards his forehead and his suicide vest explodes. Abdeslam is thrown forward by the force of the explosion as others look on in horror.

A nurse who was there at the time of the attack, tried to save him while another person said he saw a ‘large hole’ in Abdeslam’s side before noticing the wires from the bomb when he ripped off his shirt.

The 31-year-old is the brother of Salah Abdeslam, who is the only surviving suspect involved in the attacks. He went on the run following the violence in the French capital and was captured in Brussels last month.
