CCTV footage of the night Tristan Sherry was killed has been shown at the Special Criminal Court.
Mr Sherry was killed last Christmas Eve at a Browne’s Steakhouse in Blanchardstown.
Three men have denied murdering Mr Sherry, while three others have pleaded not guilty to violent disorder.
Tristan Sherry died after he shot and killed Jason Hennessy senior at Browne’s Steakhouse in Blanchardstown, before being attacked himself.
Garda Declan Meehan told the court this morning he arrived at the scene on December 24th, 2023, after reports of a shooting.
There, he saw a man who he thought was Tristan Sherry being carried out on a trolley after treatment by paramedics.
He said he couldn’t be sure it was Mr Sherry because his injuries were so severe.
Garda Dermot Sloan also gave evidence before the non-jury Special Criminal Court.
He said he got to the restaurant and witnessed Mr Sherry being treated.
Garda Sloan said chairs were upturned at the restaurant.
He had retrieved CCTV footage which he said contained evidence of Jason Hennessy senior being shot and also of Tristan Sherry’s being attacked.
The trial continues this afternoon.
