Amnesty International is paying its respects to journalists who've died in the line of fire on World Press Freedom Day.
Over 100 journalists have been killed in the past year - dozens in Syria alone.
Representatives of the National Union of Journalists will lay a wreath at the Veronica Guerin memorial this afternoon to mark the occasion. The ceremony will take place at 3.30pm in the Coach House Garden, at Dublin Castle.
