There's a call for an extra light to be added to the Five Lamps in Dublin to reflect the county's six-in-a-row All-Ireland titles.
The iconic landmark at a junction of five streets in the North Strand area has been in place since the 19th century.
Former Lord Mayor of Dublin Christy Burke has proposed a motion for a change to the structure to celebrate the county's latest GAA win.
Councillor Burke says the idea is just to highlight the team's success, although admits his proposal is unlikely to actually happen.
Speaking on Newstalk Breakfast, he said: "The reply I'm receiving is that it's highly unlikely - it is a protected structure.
"It's highly unlikely it will happen.
"[The landmark] is of significant importance... I wouldn't like to rock any boats, but I still proposed the motion."
For now, Councillor Burke says a council committee will push ahead with the vote on his motion - saying it was "worth a go" if nothing else.
He added: "Up the Dubs - well done to the Dubs and their supporters."
