Two batches of Irish cheese have been recalled due to fears they may contain a bacteria that causes tuberculosis.
Cavan cheese-maker Corleggy Cheese is recalling its Cavanbert and Drumlin raw cow's milk cheeses.
The cheeses were made using milk from a herd of cows that includes animals that tested positive for tuberculosis (TB).
The Food Safety Authority of said Mycobacterium bovis causes TB in cows and eating contaminated dairy products can cause the disease in humans.
It said no other Corleggy Cheese products are implicated in the recall.
The recall affects Cavanbert Cheese with best before dates running to the 14-02-2019 and Drumlin Cheese with best before dates running to 13-03-2019.
