The Army Bomb Disposal Team has made safe a quantity of unstable chemicals in Cork city.
The discovery was made at around 7:50pm last night at St. Finbarrs Seminary in Farranferris on the north-side of the city.
The chemical called Dinitrophenylhydrazine was found in a disused school laboratory during renovations.

It was removed to waste ground where it was made safe through the use of a controlled explosion.
