The 'Victim Support at Court' organisation, which accompanies people during court cases, is launching an awareness and recruitment campaign.
Volunteers arrange pre-trial visits for victims of crime, along with providing help and advise throughout the proceedings.
The organisation has assisted 10,000 people over the past eight years, but more volunteers are needed to expand the service outside Dublin.
