Two young children have been injured after their buggy was struck by a car in County Limerick.

The three-year-old boy and 11-month-old girl were taken to University Hospital Tralee with minor injuries.

Investigators said four cars were involved in the incident.

It happened at around 8am on the Killarney Road in Abbeyfeale.

Gardaí said their investigations are continuing.
