A group of children and adults have been rushed to hospital in the US after 'ingesting toxic mushrooms' in what is being described as a "mass casualty incident".
Emergency services in Peach Bottom Township in Pennsylvania were alerted after 11 people became ill after eating the mushrooms on Friday.
They had eaten "toxic mushrooms and were all ill", the Delta-Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company said.
It described the situation as a "mass casualty incident" and said emergency units were dispatched from multiple counties in the area.
Delta-Cardiff Fire Chief Laura Taylor said all the adults and children were in a stable condition after being taken to hospital, local television station WPMT reported.
Peach Bottom Township is about 56 miles (90km) southeast of Harrisburg, the capital of Pennsylvania state.
