The government is to hold a Children’s Rights referendum on Saturday November 10th.
The Taoiseach has told the Dáil that the Cabinet has now agreed the final wording.
That will be published tomorrow alongside new adoption legislation.
A Referendum Commission will also be established.
The Children’s Minister has insisted last month that the referendum will be held this Autumn as promised.
The comments came from Frances Fitzgerald after Fianna Fail expressed concern that the wording of the Constitutional amendment has not yet been published.
The party also said it was worried that a rushed referendum may lead to the public being badly informed.
Leading campaigners had been calling for sufficient time for debate ahead of any vote.
Enda Kenny says the government intends to mount a vigorous campaign.
