Fianna Fáil are calling on the Childrens' minister to publish key childcare legislation without delay.
It comes as Gardaí and the HSE examine allegations of the mistreatment of young children, uncovered during a Prime Time Investigates programme, due to be broadcast tonight.
Minister Frances Fitzgerald promised to publish the Children First Legislation and establish the Child and Family Support Agency more then 12 months ago.
Fianna Fáil's spokesperson on Children, Robert Troy, spoke to Newstalk's Breakfast - he wants the Minister to enact the Bills as soon as possible:
