In a statement, Chill said the new acquisition will "provide an opportunity to grow market share and continue strong adherence to best in class quality and governance procedures ensuring long term stability".
Michael McLaughlin, Chill Insurance's CEO, said they are delighted to add Aaran to their group.
He observed: "Chill Insurance is committed to making a positive contribution to the insurance industry and developing a business renowned for excellent customer relations.
"We are here to provide much needed competition in the insurance market and to provide quality and value to Irish consumers."
The firm added that a "strong partnership" with Ulster Bank facilitated the acquisition.
