A Chinese start-up has invented a long-range kissing device that connects to your smartphone.
Named after the sound people make when blowing a kiss, MUA captures and plays people’s sounds and warms up slightly during kissing.
The Guardian reports that users can even download ‘kissing data’ submitted via an accompanying app by other users.
The data is collected through motion sensors in silicon lips which simultaneously move when replaying downloaded kisses.
Inventor Zhao Jianbo said the idea was inspired by lockdown isolation
“I was in a relationship back then, but I couldn’t meet my girlfriend due to lockdowns,” he said.
He said his start-up Siweifushe has sold over 3,000 kissing machines and received 20,000 orders since he launched the product at the end of January.
