Ciara Kelly has said the 'hatred' spewed by Jeremy Clarkson has seen her change sides to 'Team Harry and Meghan'.
The Newstalk Breakfast host was speaking after the British TV presenter wrote a piece in The Sun in which he expressed his "hate" for Prince Harry's wife.
"Not like I hate Nicola Sturgeon or Rose West. I hate her on a cellular level," Clarkson wrote.
He then said he lies awake at night "dreaming of the day when she is made to parade naked through the streets of every town in Britain while crowds chant, 'Shame!' and throw lumps of excrement at her."
Ciara said this has made her realise something.
"I've been wrong about Meghan and Harry - they are right," she said.
"There is a level of hatred reserved for her and for them; it's true - it's real.
"I notice the people that [Jeremy Clarkson] reserves his hated for in general are - all three - women.
"Jeremy Clarkson is coming from a place of arrogance, but indeed experience, that makes him feel that it's OK to talk about them like this - and it's not.
"Jeremy Clarkson has determined my views - because I actually now see that I was ignoring or minimising or trivialising or indifferent to the hatred.
"This level of hatred spewed from that man has made me go: 'You know what? I've switched team, I'm on Team Harry and Meghan'.
"Screw the haters; they're right to leave. They're right to say whatever the hell they want about them - because there is something rotten in it all," she added.
'Ignoring the hatred'
Ciara said a lot of the language used against Meghan Markle in the British press is racist and misogynistic.
"I have been ignoring the hatred - and they are obsessed with her in the UK; they are obsessed with that woman.
"She was willing to embrace their tradition to start off - what has the woman done?
"She married their boy, she ate a few avocados; the whole thing of it, if you ask me, is really grim.
"It is probably racist; it is misogynistic and I think that they're right.
"I think that Harry being somehow seen as a patsy, and her being blamed for all his actions, is wholly wrong and a load of rubbish.
"He doesn't want to happen to her what happened to his mother," she added.
