Gardaí have discovered an alcohol bottling plant and cigarette factory during an early morning raid in Co Louth.
Officers from Dundalk - assisted by the Northern Regional Armed Support Unit and officers from the Department of Revenue - searched a warehouse in Knockbridge, a village near Dundalk this morning.
They discovered the factory, which is said to have been able to produce cigarettes and alcohol with an estimated loss of €25 million to the exchequer.

No arrests were made during the search.
Gardaí say their investigation into the discovery is ongoing.
