Cillian Murphy took home the Best Lead Actor - Film accolade for Small Things Like These, which also took home the biggest award of the night 'Best Film'.

The Cork actor Mr Muphy said there was a "great responsibility" in making this film.
"So many people read the book, it's on the curriculum, my son's doing the Leaving, so I think it's amazing that the book has been taken to heart so much in the country," he said.
"Then we just felt a great responsibility to be faithful to the book.
“There's people walking around who have this as a real lived experience and it's affected so many people across the country, so we felt a great deal of responsibility."

Saoirse Ronan took home two gongs – Best Lead Actress - Film for The Outrun and Best Supporting Actress - Film for Blitz.
Bad Sisters also swept up a few major awards but none of the acting categories.
