A Dublin City Councillor is calling on the Government to do more to clampdown on knife crime.
It comes after a 22-year-old German student was stabbed to death in an apartment in Rialto on Saturday morning.
Another man was also stabbed during the incident at the Herberton apartments - he is now said to be in a serious but stable condition in hospital.

Two teenage boys - aged in their mid teens and late teens - have been arrested.
