The owners of a classic and performance car showroom destroyed in a Dublin fire overnight have expressed relief that nobody was injured.
Six fire engines, including a turntable ladder and foam tender were used to fight the fire at Deane Motors in Rosemount Business Park in Ballycoolin last night.
The blaze saw thick smoke billowing across the local area and Dublin Fire Brigade warned residents to close their windows.
The showroom boasted classic cars ranging in value from €14,000 to €100,000.

In a post on Instagram, the owner of the showroom said he was heartbroken at the loss.
“The home of Ireland's car culture is gone,” he said. “We don’t know what to say.
“Please bear with us over the coming days. Everyone is safe and that’s all that matters.”
This morning, Gardaí and Dublin Fire Brigade are investigating the cause of the fire.
Gardaí do not suspect foul play and a spokesperson told Newstalk that, ‘no injuries have been reported and no offences have been disclosed’.
