A clear-up is underway in the US after hurricane force winds and a blizzard dumped up to 40 inches of snow in the north-east.
At least nine people have been killed and hundreds of thousands are without power.
Air traffic began to return to normal today after close to 6,000 flights were cancelled over the past two days.
