A new survey shows 33% of Irish people favour the Cliffs of Moher as their top spot to bring overseas tourists.
The survey, which is being launched ahead of National Heritage Week, also shows Newgrange in county Meath voted our favourite heritage site for the fifth consecutive year.
Other sites respondents said would be the first to place they'd take tourist include Newgrange (32% of those surveyed), Giant's Causeway (19%), the Rock of Cashel (9%) and Bunratty Castle (7%).
The research shows that 33% of those surveyed visit heritage sites 3 - 4 times a year, while 22% visit more than ten times a year. Country manors and estate houses are particularly popular, with 24% of respondents saying they are their favourite type of heritage site.
Trinity College was voted the site respondents felt most worthy of official heritage status, followed by Kylemore Abbey and St James' Gate / The Guinness Brewery.
