Clive Owen says he has strong memories of Belfast as being like a “war zone” during the Troubles.
The actor was speaking as he attended the UK premiere of his new thriller Shadow Dancer.
Owen plays an MI5 agent in the 90s sent to persuade a character to spy on her IRA brothers for British intelligence.

He says he was acting in Belfast at the same time period the film is set in – and felt a “huge tension”.
