A section of the Coast Road in North Dublin is closed in both directions after a serious road crash overnight.

It happened at around 1am this morning in Baldoyle.

Gardaí have yet to confirm whether anyone was hurt in the incident; however, a blue tent has been erected around the crash site.

Garda forensic collision investigators are due to arrive the scene shortly.
