Three men have been arrested after drugs, cash and an imitation gun were seized in Dublin city centre.
The discovery was made during a planned intelligence-led operation in the Hardwick Street area on Thursday.
The operation was part of ongoing investigations into the sale and supply of controlled drugs, specifically targeting those involved in street level dealing in the north inner-city area.
As part to the operation, seven flats were searched under warrant.
During the searches cannabis herb with an estimated street value of over €40,000 was seized.
Cocaine worth €3,000, €4,500 in cash, an imitation handgun and pepper-spray were also seized.
The three men, all aged in their 20s, were arrested and are being held at Mountjoy Garda station under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
