A man has been arrested after Gardaí found cocaine worth €130,000 under a car in Bray, County Wicklow.

Investigators said they saw a man acting suspiciously on Main Street in the town yesterday.

When they approached him the man, aged in his 20s, ran away.

Officers chased and caught him before finding a bag containing around 1.8kg of cocaine under a parked car.

The man was arrested and taken Bray Garda Station.
