Cocaine worth over $1m has washed up on the shores of Florida following a strong storm.
An official with the US Border Patrol says Hurricane Debby blew 25 packages of cocaine onto a beach in the Florida Keys on Monday.
A 'good samaritan' found the packages containing 32kg (79lbs) of the drug and contacted authorities.
The exact location of the package was not revealed but photos show the taped-up packages featuring a red triangle on the label.
The person who found the package - a beachgoer - discovered it wrapped inside a bin bag among seaweed, leaves and other debris.
Storm Debby made landfall in the US as a Category 1 hurricane on Monday morning, with winds topping 128km/hr.
It has since been downgraded to a tropical storm - and looks set to bring rain and flooding as it makes its way north to Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
Drugs frequently wash up on southern Florida beaches and surrounding waters as smugglers traffic the substances from South America to the US.
US Border Patrol says it has now seized the drugs.
