The Union of Students in Ireland has hit out at some universities for hiring debt collectors to find students who have not yet paid their fees.
The Irish Independent says University College Dublin is following in the footsteps of the University of Limerick - who have already used a debt collecting agency.
Colleges are under increasing financial pressure because of funding cuts.
It's the latest in a series of worries fro students, many of whom have only recently received their grants, following a breakdown in the SUSI system designed to allocate grant money.
