Motorists are advised the Killavullen road in Mallow, county Cork has re-opened following a fatal incident yesterday.

A 14 year old boy -who was a passenger on a tractor - fell and received serious head injuries.

He was airlifted to Cork University Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Gardai have carried out a forensic examination of the scene

Local Councillor Dan Joe Fitzgerald, says the local community will offer their support.
