A woman suing Conor McGregor and another man for allegedly raping her in a Dublin hotel claims the other man is lying about having sex with her.
Nikita Hand, a hair colourist from Drimnagh, claims she was raped in the penthouse suite of the Beacon Hotel on the 9th of December 2018.
Ms Hand had been out all night drinking and taking cocaine at her work Christmas party.
She claims that Conor McGregor raped her sometime after bringing her and a girl she worked with to the Beacon Hotel on the afternoon in question.
Mr McGregor denies the allegation, claiming the pair had consensual sex two times after Ms Hand came onto him.
The second named defendant, James Lawrence, of Rafter’s Road, Drimmagh, was with them in the penthouse suite.
The jury was told today he claims that Ms Hand and Conor McGregor could be clearly heard having sex, and that it sounded like she was having, “a good time, not a bad time”.
Mr Lawrence claimed that later in the evening, he saw Ms Hand having sex with Mr McGregor for a second time.
Ms Hand denied these claims.
When asked if she believed Mr Lawrence’s claim that he also had consensual sex with her on two occasions after Conor McGregor left, she answered: “No, I think he’s lying”.
