A woman who is suing Conor McGregor for allegedly raping her in the penthouse suite of a Dublin hotel has told the jury in her civil action against him, she thought she was going to die.
Nikita Hand, a 35-year-old hair colourist from Drimnagh, has taken the UFC fighter and another man to court, claiming they both had sex with her without her consent.
On a bed in the penthouse suite of the Beacon Hotel on the 9th of Dec 2018, Nikita Hand told the jury Conor McGregor pinned her down with the full weight of his body.
She said she couldn’t breathe and that the more she struggled and tried to get away, the more he liked it.
She said her only defence was to bite him and that when she did, he flipped her over, put his arm around her neck and tried to choke her three times.
She said she kept thinking she was going to die and she just decided to let him do whatever he needed to do so she could survive.
She said that, while he was raping her, she just went completely numb.
Mr McGregor and the other man, James Lawrence, of Rafter’s Road in Drimnagh, deny the allegations, claiming everything that happened was consensual.
