Gardaí have charged 15 people with public order incidents in Coolock earlier today.
They are due to appear before a special sitting of the Criminal Courts of Justice in Dublin this evening.
It follows a day of unrest in the area at a site that is due to be developed for asylum seekers.
Large numbers of Gardaí were called in to the former Crown Paints site after the unrest began this morning.
Some protesters have threw missiles, including bricks, at the approaching Gardaí and pepper spray has also been used.
A security guard is understood to have been injured at the site.
Justice Minister Helen McEntee has said those involved in the disturbances will face the "full rigours of the law".
"I am appalled at the criminal behaviour that took place in Coolock today," she said.
"I have spoken to the Garda Commissioner and he has assured me that everything will be done to bring those responsible to justice.
"Gardaí were on the scene immediately and the public order unit is onsite.
"People engaged in such acts will face the full rigours of the law," she added.
The Public Order Unit remains at the scene.
