One of Copenhagen’s oldest buildings has erupted in flames this morning.
Thick smoke was seen billowing from the Old Stock Exchange (Børsen) in the Danish capital’s city centre this morning.
Flames could also be seen engulfing the building's iconic spire, which later collapsed into the roof.
There have been no reports of injuries.

Emergency crews were rushed to the scene and continue working to make the building safe this morning.
Images on social media showed artwork being removed from the building.
The historic building dates back to 1625 and is situated next to the Danish parliament.
It featured a 56m (184ft) spire shaped by the intertwined tails of four dragons.
The building had been under renovation when the fire broke out.

It was often used for gala dinners, conferences and events, but was not open to the public.
In a post online, Denmark's Culture Minister Jakob Engel-Schmidt said 400 years of Danish cultural heritage had gone up in flames.
He said it was "touching" to see how passers-by helped emergency workers "save art treasures and iconic images from the burning building".

"We are met by a terrible sight. The Børsen is on fire," the Chamber of Commerce wrote on X.
Copenhagen police said they were evacuating buildings in the street where the Old Stock Exchange is located, including the Finance Ministry.
Police warned the public to expect the area to cordoned off for some time.
The cause of the fire currently remains unknown.
