1,000 jobs are on the way to Cork before the end of 2015 at the Voxpro International Headquarters.

The announcement was made by Voxpro CEO Dan Kiely as he and his partner Linda Kiely were presented with the MSL Cork Business Person of the Year Awards 2013 by Tanaiste Eamon Gilmore.

Voxpro is a multilingual business process outsourcing provider with 500 people currently employed at their Blackrock headquarters.

Founded 15 years ago, Voxpro has grown to become the largest Irish exporter of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), with international business now accounting for more than 80% of overall turnover at the firm.

It delivers customer contact solutions for more than 100 companies - ranging from local enterprises to multinational corporations - and organisations.

The company says it has a long-term plan to become one of the largest employers in Cork within the next two years, and to expand its global workforce to 4,000 by 2018.

CEO Dan Kiely says the plan is to employ 1,000 people by the end of 2015.
