Gardaí in Cork want information about a hit and run involving a small girl over the weekend.
They're appealing for information from the public about the incident, which happened on Sunday, in Cork city.
The driver of a small red car, with a number plate containing the letters and numbers 00 C, hit a 3-year-old girl on Sunday evening.
After the girl was hit at Carberry Grove, Knocknaheeney between 8.40 and 9.40pm that night, the car paused, before driving off towards Courtown Drive and onwards to Kilmore Road.
The girl was taken to Cork University Hospital with minor injuries and has since been released.
Investigators want to speak to the man who drove the car - he's described as in his 50s, with grey hair and a grey beard and glasses. He was wearing a muscle top and jeans.
