The number 1 spot in the Huffington Post's list of most underrated European cities goes to......Cork.
The city beat 22 other European destinations like Lyon in France, Porto in Portugal and Maastricht in The Netherlands.
Cork, which they claim is often referred to as the "real capital of Ireland", won for the 'friendly and welcoming' locals and 'laid back vibe'.
They also give a nod to the Irish capital saying 'Dublin is great', but describing Cork as a spot to visit for it's easy navigation and great "foodie" restaurants, pubs and live music.
The article suggests that, 'Once you've visited the classics, it's time to head to one of these underrated cities in Europe.'
