There have been 395 new cases of coronavirus confirmed in Ireland.
One further death has also been reported today.
Of today's cases, 132 were in Dublin, 31 in Cork, 27 in Donegal, 27 in Limerick, 27 in Galway and the rest spread across 18 other counties.
The current 14-day incidence rate is 135 per 100,000 people, while the reproductive number of the virus is now estimated to be 0.6.
Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan said: "Not every part of the country has experienced the same reductions in disease incidence.
"For example, Donegal's 14-day incidence is at 281 per 100,000, compared to the national average of 135 per 100,000."
He said the country as a whole can continue to drive down transmission rates over the remaining three weeks of level five lockdown - saying a 'great deal of suppression' has already been achieved.
As of 2pm this afternoon, there were 279 COVID-19 patients in Irish hospitals, including 39 in intensive care.
The HSE today said a number of hospitals are under pressure due to COVID-19 outbreaks.
