There have been 984 new cases of COVID-19 in Ireland, latest figures show.
The Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC) says there are 343 patients hospitalised with the virus.
While 70 of these are in ICU.
There has been a total of 5,280 deaths in Ireland related to COVID-19.
This includes 31 newly notified deaths in the past week since last Wednesday.
The five-day moving average of cases has dropped back to 1,127.
Meanwhile data from the Department of Health in Northern Ireland shows there have been 1,339 new coronavirus cases there.
There have also been two additional related deaths in the region.
There are 362 patients being treated for the disease in hospitals in the North, with 31 in ICU.
