Costa Coffee, one of the world's biggest coffee store chains, is facing a controversy over the difference in price between a large latte and a regular latte.
The controversy has dogged the company after a video, which was posted on Facebook by Paul Hopkinson in Surrey and has been viewed over 11 million times, shows that the large latte can fit into the regular cup.

The allegation surrounds the Costa Express machines, and in response to the video getting a lot of traction online, the company stated that "when purchasing a large Costa Express drink you are receiving an extra shot of coffee and additional drink, compared to a regular size".
However, they have since been forced to row back on that assertion after BuzzFeed followed up on the story, and spoke to a source close to the company who claimed that wasn't true.
They have since said that the larger cappuccino and Americano drinks contain an extra shot, but there are only two shots of coffee in both the large and regular lattes, as seen in the video.
A spokesperson also confirmed to the website that the difference in price of 30p "covers the cost of an additional amount of milk (4oz)".
The news follows off the back of a similar claim being made against Starbucks, after a lawsuit was taken against them in California stating that they underfill their beverages.
