Tributes have been paid to a County Down man who died while holidaying in the Canary Islands over St Patrick’s weekend.
Downpatrick man Dean Dobbin was found dead at an apartment in the beach town of Mogán in Gran Canaria earlier this week.
The father-of-one was found with a head injury and police yesterday said they were investigating whether he died violently.
Writing on social media, his brother Davy Dobbin said he was “the most beautiful heart you will ever have met”.
His other brother Mark wrote: “My beautiful little brother words can’t express the love everyone has for you and we are all heartbroken.”
“You will forever be in our hearts. Love you always and my you rest in peace.”
Funeral arrangements have yet to be announced.
The Department of Foreign Affairs has said it is aware of the case and is providing consular assistance.
