Gardaí have launched an investigation, after a couple were found dead in their house in Co Donegal.
The elderly couple were discovered in their bedroom in Riverside View, Convoy on Wednesday afternoon.
Gardaí were contacted by a relative of the couple at 1.30pm.
The man aged in his 80s and woman in her 70s were pronounced dead at the scene.
Gardaí have said the deaths are believed to be the result of natural causes.
An investigation will be carried out and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
Local councilor Liam Doherty, who is related to the couple, has said their deaths are not being treated as suspicious.
"Apparently the woman herself had taken a fall in the bedroom, and her husband got out to assist her.
"And he seemingly has taken a fall as well, and the two (of them) has passed away unfortunately".
"The forensics are at the scene at the moment, but there's no sign of foul play.
"There's no sign of any gasses, carbon monoxide or anything like it.
"The house is an oil-heated home".
