A Co. Monaghan Couple has made an appeal for the return of a stolen hard drive containing photo's of their twin boys who passed away shortly after being born in November last year.

Hannah Smyth from Carrickmacross gave birth to twin boys Laughlin and Ethan when she was just 26 weeks pregnant.

She has stored photos of the boys on a red hard drive which was stolen from her husbands car in Bayside in Dublin yesterday.

Tomorrow she will mark the first anniversary of Laughlin's death and next week will be Ethan's anniversary.

She told the Ray D'Arcy Show they just want their pictures back: "All the ones that we took on our mobile and any little videos we took. I have a two-and-a-half-year old. When we knew that the boys were very poorly, they allowed us to take him in. I've got a photo with him saying hello to the boys that I can explain to him when he's older about his little brothers."

The camera was stolen from the back seat of their car Eurospar shop in Bayside, Dublin just after 3pm.
